Carl Rogers on being ourselves

“What I am is good enough if I would only be it openly” ~ Carl Rogers

This is a quote for one of the themes of the story, that every one of my characters is afraid of at least one aspect of themselves that manifests itself negatively in their relationships within the friendship group. This is what they realise towards the end of the book. Self awareness and the awareness of the mistakes of others brings them all closer and allows them to give closure to some important personal issues.
